As high school and college seniors pick up their cap-and-gown sets and fend off cases of “senior-itis,” families and friends of the graduates-to-be are ramping up preparations for memorable graduation celebrations to signify such a momentous occasion.

A Catered Experience brings nearly four decades of experience to the table, and the excellent food quality and extraordinary customer service are evident at each memorable event they’re a part of — from first birthday parties to elegant weddings and, of course, graduation parties. The skilled experts at A Catered Experience also are available to man one’s party for an additional cost, and can provide a skirted buffet setup with chafers and serving utensils, as well as staff to set up, replenish and clean up the food spread.

“As joyous of an occasion graduation parties are, they can be a ton of work to plan and ex ecute,” says general manager Ron Hattori. “With our level of expertise, we are capable and eager to take away the stress of it all so that the host and attendees can enjoy the party worry-free.”

In anticipation of upcoming graduation celebrations, customers may choose from a variety of tasty menu packages available via A Catered Experience. Light Menu ($8.95 per person plus tax, 25-person minimum) features a host of popular items, including shoyu pork, sauteed fish with tartar sauce or wasabi caper sauce, boneless barbecue teriyaki chicken, fried noodles, steamed white rice and tossed salad with choice of dressing.

Local diners rave about Hawaiian Menu ($11.50 per person plus tax, 25-person mini-

mum), an island-style feast comprised of favorites like kalua pig, lau lau, chicken long rice, lomi salmon, macaroni salad, steamed white rice and the ever-popular haupia squares.

The Prime Rib Menu ($21.95 per person plus tax, 10-person minimum) is crafted to elevate the dining experience at any event with whole-roasted prime rib, along with au jus and horseradish. The popular menu also includes boneless herb-crusted chicken with lemon thyme sauce, sauteed fish with wasabi caper sauce, steamed vegetables, steamed white rice, tossed salad with choice of dressing and assorted fresh fruits.

Menus can be customized to meet the needs of customers, and orders are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. As a reminder, at least two weeks advance notice is requested; the aforementioned offers are valid on orders booked now through Aug. 31, 2015; and an additional delivery fee may apply.

A Catered Experience accepts checks and credit card payments, while cash payments must be made in person at the Waipio office. Those interested should call A Catered Experience at 677-7744 to make the necessary arrangements. Your grad will thank you!
